We had such a great time on December 16, 2017 visiting a local nursing home and taking 78 residents gifts and cards. They blessed us to much. This gal loved the card that was made by a local child. She also loved to sing! What a joy!
We had a blast reaching out to less fortunate kids and giving them backpacks filled with the school supplies they needed. We were able to bless 53 kids for the August 2017 school start date. Thank you so much to those who donated items and money for this outreach. We hope to more than double our numbers next year!
We are visiting the Presbyterian Manor in Farmington, MO tomorrw (3/25/17). We are taking residents Easter Treat Bags and will be visiting with them for a bit. We are looking forward to our time with them!
On January 28, 2017, we did a grocery outreach and also provided school supplies to a less fortunate young lady in high school. The community, once again, provided names of individuals they knew who were in need. It is such a blessing to serve those in our community. People have been so shocked and thankful. We are humbled to be a part of what HE is doing! Here are a few photos of the places we visited and school supplies provided.
On December 23rd and 24th, we did a community groceries outreach. We asked the community to submit names of people they knew that were in need. We had a great response. We were able to bless 7 families (one we will get to at a later date to due their not being available) in the area. We purchased groceries from Aldi’s and took them straight to their home. Most people were very surprised which was a lot of fun. It was great to get to connect with people we did not know and bless them. Thanks for your help in our outreach. And as with any outreach, money is always needed to continue blessing and we would appreciate your donations to help us continue. God is good! We have are posting a video and a couple of pictures of homes we visited.
