His Hands and Feet, Inc. started in 2016.  We are currently doing this outreach on a part-time basis.  We are believing God for great things this year and in the years to come.  Our target area for ministry includes, but is not limited to, Farmington, MO and communities in close proximity (Fredericktown, Park Hills, etc).  The following are some of the specific goals that we have here at His Hands and Feet, Inc.  These goals will not all be accomplished all at once but by the grace of God will be accomplished over a period of time.  As is the case with any outreach, our goals will change as we grow.

moratorium-clipart-Groceries

We want to help as many individuals and families as possible with food.  Whether it be the homeless, those on fixed income, low income, or just having a tough time due to a crisis situation.  We want to spend a little bit of time connecting with those we help and show them the love of Jesus.  The food bank distribution rate in our area is less than half the national average and the food insecurity rate is 1 in 4 for children.  We want to make a difference!

bible study We will be offering women’s bible studies, free of charge, on various different subjects throughout the year.  Our goal is to grow together in HIM and be the women that HE has created us to be.  It is important to know what you believe and why you believe it, not only for your own steadfastness but also for sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ.

seniors

We want to go into local nursing homes and take activity supplies, gifts, have visitation and worship.  Did you know that 60% of nursing home residents do not have even one visiter?  So many times the elderly are forgotten by us but they are not forgotten by God.  We want to do what we can to brighten their day!

We are believing God for a food truck.  We will use this to go to areas of need and serve hot, homemade meals.  We may pull up into neighborhoods or go to crisis areas.  The possibilities are endless!

afterschool classIn 2017 and years beyond, we want to buy school supplies for families who can not afford it.  Have you seen the supplies list for classes these days?  They are very long and not affordable for many families.

We also plan to have family fun events, free of charge, for less fortunate families and also those families with special needs kids.  Our goal is to eventually have two a year.  This could be movie nights, a fun day at the park, or any number of things that will be fun for the entire family.

In the future, we hope to have established an after school program free of charge.  This will be an exciting time while we help children with their homework, provide snacks and just simply have fun.

freedom

Within the next few years, we will be offering biblical guidance/counseling to families and individuals free of charge.

home

Our ultimate goal to have two locations.  One location in the heart of downtown Farmington, MO where we will serve hot meals to the hungry, have bible studies and counseling.  We would also like to purchase property and build a home in the outskirts of Farmington, MO to help aging out foster kids take steps toward a successful future.  We want to give them the life skills they need to succeed and live a happy, healthy life.  We also want to be able to house those in crisis situations who have no where else to go.  By the grace of GOD, we will accomplish it.

Our foundation scripture is found in Matthew 25:35-36 where JESUS says:  “For I was hungry and you gave ME something to eat; I was thirsty and you gave ME something to drink; I was a stranger and you took ME in; I was naked and you clothed ME; I was sick and you took care of ME; I was in prison and you visited ME.”

Please join us in making an impact in our communities.
