His Hands and Feet, Inc. started in 2016. We are currently doing this outreach on a part-time basis. We are believing God for great things this year and in the years to come. Our target area for ministry includes those in Farmington and Fredericktown city limits. The following are some of the specific goals that we have here at His Hands and Feet, Inc. These goals will not be accomplished all at once but by the grace of God will be accomplished over a period of time. As is the case with any outreach, our goals will change as we grow.
We want to help folks in the community out with food and/or necessities. There are many needs as the cost of living is high and the wages for most are low. We want to spend some time connecting with those we help and show them the love of Jesus. We will partner with organizations as well to reach even more types of needs.
We are offering women’s bible studies, free of charge, on various different subjects throughout the year. Our goal is to grow together in HIM and be the women that HE has created us to be. It is important to know what you believe and why you believe it, not only for your own steadfastness but also for sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ.
We are going into local nursing homes/resident care facilities and take activity supplies, gifts, have visitation and worship. Did you know that 60% of nursing home residents do not have even one visitor? So many times the elderly are forgotten by us but they are not forgotten by God. We want to do what we can to brighten their day!
We are believing God for a food truck. We will use this to go to areas of need and serve hot, homemade meals. We may pull up into neighborhoods or go to crisis areas. The possibilities are endless!
Shortly before school starts each year we will be buying school supplies for families who can not afford it. Have you seen the supplies list for classes these days? They are very long and not affordable for many families.
In the future, we plan to have family fun events, free of charge, for less fortunate families and also those families with special needs kids. Our goal is to eventually have two a year. This could be movie nights, a fun day at the park, or any number of things that will be fun for the entire family.
It is also a goal of our to have an after school program free of charge. This will be an exciting time while we help children with their homework, provide snacks and just simply have fun.
Within the next few years, we will be offering biblical guidance/counseling to families and individuals free of charge.
Our ultimate goal to have a location in Farmington, MO where we will to help aging out foster kids take steps toward a successful future. We want to give them the life skills they need to succeed and live a happy, healthy life. We also want to be able to house those in crisis situations who have no where else to go. By the grace of GOD, we will accomplish it.
Our foundation scripture is found in Matthew 25:35-36 where JESUS says: “For I was hungry and you gave ME something to eat; I was thirsty and you gave ME something to drink; I was a stranger and you took ME in; I was naked and you clothed ME; I was sick and you took care of ME; I was in prison and you visited ME.”
Please join us in making an impact in our communities.
